This debut CD has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember, and I always thought it would take an act of God for this dream to ever become reality. Well, I was partially right! It actually took countless acts from God to finally finish the project… and it all started with the amazing friendships that were kindled years and years ago!
I just didn’t realize they were right under my nose all this time… The “Beautiful Wonder” CD is graced with phenomenally talented musicians, singers, and songwriters that I’ve known for who knows how long! And some I’ve just met through mutual connections! It seems like God strategically placed people in my path at just the right time for them to be whatever God needed them to be.
I don’t want to turn this blog entry into a bunch of shout outs - I can save that for the CD’s liner notes - but there are so many other people who probably won’t even know I’m writing about them. It’s just a wild feeling looking back over the near decade full of relationships that are represented on this CD...
Okay, okay, I’m getting the sniffles now!
So, I will just say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to each and every one who has shared with me in one way or many others – musically, intellectually and even spiritually. You may not even know who you are, but God intended for this moment to happen, and it wouldn’t have happened without your contribution, no matter how big or small…
